OutdoorVan Peak Lite
Lightweight. Low-Profile. Built for Real Adventure.
The OutdoorVan Peak Lite is the compact evolution of our original tent — designed for smaller vehicles or anyone looking to keep weight to a minimum, without sacrificing comfort or durability.
Go light. Stay dry. Sleep anywhere — no matter the weather or terrain.
Durable, Waterproof, Built to Last
With a super-slim profile of just 12 cm and a total weight of only 60 kg, this tent won’t weigh you down — but it’s still tough enough for multi-day trips in demanding conditions. Whether you're road-tripping across the country or wild camping for a weekend, you’ll sleep dry, elevated, and in comfort wherever you stop.
Made from 280g Ripstop canvas with a PU 3000 mm waterproof coating and built-in UPF 50+ sun protection, the Peak Lite is built to handle rain, wind, and tough conditions without compromise. The reinforced cross-weave structure prevents tearing, while fully taped seams keep water out — even during heavy downpours.
The lightweight aluminium shell is equipped with gas struts for smooth, effortless opening. Heavy-duty latches keep the tent securely closed when driving.
Comfort in a Compact Form
Inside, there’s plenty of room for two adults to lie down or sit upright and enjoy the view. The interior includes soft-touch LED lighting powered via USB-A (ideal for power banks), a comfortable foam mattress with a built-in anti-condensation mat for humid weather, and multiple storage pockets — including a clear one for your tablet or smartphone.
The tent comes with a telescopic aluminium ladder extending up to 2.3 meters, attachable from either side. All doors and windows have fine mesh mosquito screens and dual zippers for airflow and insect protection. A shoe bag keeps dirty boots outside, and a small porch shelters the entrance in bad weather.
Open & Ready in 10 Seconds
No poles. No stress. The Peak Lite opens in just 10 seconds, so you can spend less time setting up and more time enjoying the view.

Frequently asked questions
Will the tent fit my car?
Most likely, yes. It comes down to two things: whether your car can be fitted with roof bars (which is possible on most vehicles), and what your roof load limit is. If both are good, you're very likely good to go. Most cars can take a lightweight roof tent, such as the Peak Lite as a minimum.
Not sure? You can take a look at our quick guide to learn the basics or send us a message — we’re happy to help you check compatibility.
Is the tent easy to install and use?
Yes! Our roof tents are designed for quick and easy setup. Installing the tent on your car’s roof bars is straightforward and usually takes about 20–30 minutes, depending on your experience. The tent comes with all necessary mounting hardware.
Once installed, the tent pops open in just 10 seconds. Then you just attach the ladder and, if you want, the porch poles. That’s it – the whole setup takes less than a minute. After that, just climb in, get comfy, and you’re ready to sleep under the stars.
What are the advantages of having a roof tent?
Sleeping Up High
A roof tent lets you sleep on top of your car, keeping you off the ground away from mud and bugs. It’s more comfortable, safer, and gives you great views and fresh air.
Quick and Easy Setup
The tent is fast and easy to set up and pack away, and it has a built-in mattress, so you save time and hassle when camping.
Camp Wherever You Park
With a roof tent, you can camp almost anywhere your vehicle can go. You don’t need to find a flat spot like with a regular ground tent.
More Space Inside Your Car
Since the tent folds up on your roof, you have more room inside your car for other camping gear. With a roof tent, camping becomes something to look forward to!
Is the tent comfortable to sleep in?
Absolutely! Our tents come with a high-density foam mattress and an anti-condensation mat underneath for extra comfort. Many users find it more comfortable than traditional ground tents since you’re sleeping elevated on a flat, stable surface. Plus, the height helps with better airflow and insulation, so you don’t have to worry about uneven, rocky, or damp ground beneath you.
Is the tent warm and waterproof?
Yes — our rooftop tents are well insulated, waterproof and built to handle a wide range of temperatures. The fabric is weather-resistant, helping to retain warmth and block wind. For colder adventures, you can use a winter-rated sleeping bag for extra comfort.
