Warranty Policy

At Outdoor-Van, we stand behind the quality and durability of our rooftop tents. Every product is carefully designed and built to last — and our warranty reflects that commitment.

 

What’s Covered

We offer a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase on all rooftop tent components, including:

  • Base and aluminium frame

  • Ladder and mounting hardware

  • Tent fabric, seams and stitching

Zippers and buckles are covered by a 12-month warranty.

If a defect in materials or workmanship appears during normal use, we’ll repair or replace the affected part — or the entire product — at our discretion. Most issues can be solved with simple replacement parts, which we’ll send out free of charge.


What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. UV fading, exhausted zippers)

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, fabric fading)

  • Damage from misuse, accidents, modification, or poor maintenance

  • Products used for rental or commercial use

  • Second-hand items or products not bought directly from Outdoor-Van or an authorised seller


How to Make a Claim

If you experience an issue:

  1. Contact us directly via our contact form or email

  2. Include proof of purchase and a clear photo/video of the issue

  3. We’ll assess the problem and let you know the next steps

Depending on the situation, we may:

  • Send you replacement parts (free of charge)

  • Cover reasonable repair costs

  • Offer a product replacement or refund

If a return to our workshop is needed, we’ll arrange collection at no cost within the UK.

 

30-Day Return Policy

Changed your mind? You can return unused items in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Returns must be arranged and shipped at your expense. Refunds exclude the original delivery fee and may take 3–5 business days after inspection.
